  • NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) は、2024/9/13-15 にかけてロシア軍機がアラスカの防空識別圏 (ADIZ : Air Defense Identification Zone) に接近したことを明らかにした。13 日には Tu-142×2 機、15 日には Il-38×2 機が二度。中露海軍は 16 日まで、合同演習 "Ocean 2024" を実施していた。また、米沿岸警備隊のカッター USCGC Stratton (WMSL-752) が、アラスカの Point Hope に近いチュクチ海を哨戒中に、潜水艦×2、フリゲート×1、航洋曳船×1 からなるロシアの戦闘群を発見した。アメリカの領海内を 30nm に渡り、ルール通りに通航したとのこと。(USNI NEWS 2024/9/16, Stars & Stripes 2024/9/17)
